I have a 1965 GMC stepside longbed with a 305 V6 in it. The motor is in great condition but i am getting really close to dropping a 350 or 383 in it. the motor is completely stock from the oil pan all the way up to the oil bath air filter. It only has 150800 miles on it!! if anyone knows the value of this motor, or could give me an estimate, that would be really great!

Well, from what I have heard about that motor, it has plenty of life left in it. As for value, it's hard to say. I don't imagine it's worth much because there is very little demand for them. I say you fab up an intake manifold for it and mount a blower on top. Get one of the big cast iron detroit diesel style blowers to keep with the rediculously heavy engine theme.
