    ford aod trans

     



    i have two aod transmissions
    one is a 88 aod out of a marquis
    will sell for 200 ob/ro
    other is a rebuilt 1980 aod transmission
    will sell for 450 ob/ro
    come with torque converter
    need to sell
    live in michigan 48823

    why are you asking more for the early one? I thought later AODs were stronger.

    1980 aod is fresh rebuilt
    and the 88 has 122,000 miles on it

    Aods are notoriously weak transmissions. When you had the 80 rebuilt, did you have a shift kit or industrial clutch packs put in?
