1940 flathead, tranny FREE you pick up
2 years ago I bought a 29 tudor off of a guy for a project. with it came the front frame section (40 ford car?) with a flathead v-8,tranny,radiator,etc. While I don't know much about flatheads I know that the dist needs caps and an overhaul. The motor turns over and has compression. I got it to fire a few times but not much else. It would be a great motor to rebuild. I'm located in central Wisconsin. The motor and tranny are FREE to anybody who would want to pick it up. I need the space with a new project on the way. Re: 1940 flathead, tranny FREE you pick up
It's been a year since he posted it and he hasn't replied to anyone who said they were interested. I would guess that it's long gone. Did you try sending him an email? His email address is in his post.
