307/327/350 chev engines...
hey,
new to the forum so take it easy, haha. I'm from australia, and most the chev engines down here are overally expensive. After browsing your site i've seen you selling 307's for $350 (american, roughly 500-550 aus)
Are there any american sites where i could get a 307-350 chev engine imported from the states to australia for the same price (but + postage etc of course) you guys are selling the engines?
Thanks,
and heres some picture of what it's going into, a 1975 HX one tonner, an Australian special, haha.. here & here
ps. fyi, it's a wip, it's not going to look anything like above when i'm finished with it

Most probably wouldn't need the tranny or turn key....just the long motor itself, carby to sump really

Not a fan of ebay really, atleast with a respectable shop i know i'm not going to be ripped off or if i am i can easily track them down.
I would prefer to buy an engine off this website than ebay but that'd be almost impossible anyway.

The carb to sump would mean you had 2 heads, an intake a carb, assembled block, and an oil pan, the only thing you'd lack is a distributor, that's a little more than a long block, that's a compleate engine, I think a long block is heads, rotating assembly and nothing else, possibly the oil pan all instaled in block. A short block is the rotating assembly installed in the block. A compleate engine would be everything except the distributor and possibly carb or ither or. Check www.rebuiltautoengines.com , they have many listings and probably ship international. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

hey guys, thanks for all your help but streets is probably right
i've given up on chev idea, too much hassle and too expensive in australia. going to stick to the "trusty" 308 holden engine.
cheers for all your help.
