New To The Game
I JUST GOT MY FIRST CLASSIC. A 1961 CHEVY BISCAYNE. I CAN NOT FIND ANY PARTS LOCALLY FOR IT. ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN AIR FILTERS AND STAINLESS STEEL TRIM FOR IT?AL-BISCAYNE

Al, right off hand I can't think of anyone but Year One. They carry a lot of the Chevy stuff. P. S, For future reference, all caps means your are yelling on the internet. Just a gentle mention.Duane S

Al, going through an earlier old car trader, I found Chevy Parts. www.obschevy.com. They say they have sheet metal. Also Scott's Antique & classic Cars & Parts (www.scottschevyparts.com). Lutty's Chevy Warehouse (www.luttyschevy.com,) I hope this helps you out some. What motor and trans do you have?Duane S

ok i have have a strait 6 in my 61 chevy, i CANNOT find air filters anywhere. anyone know where i can get them? please help. pleeeaseAL-BISCAYNE

I checked the Wix and Fram catalogs and they list every other kind of filter for your car except an air filter. This makes me think that it may have been an oil-bath type of filter that does not use a replaceable element. Is this the case?PLANET EARTH, INSANE ASYLUM FOR THE UNIVERSE.

i dont know what an oil bath is, im still learning all the terms lol. i found a air filter element that fits, we kinda fits. its not the right one but for now its holding up.AL-BISCAYNE
