Searching for 428 CJ
I'm lookin' for a 428 cobra jet for for a friend of mine. He's looking to drop it in a '69 mach 1 and he's searched everywhere and hasn't been unable to find one up here in the Northwest. Any chance someone can help me out or at least point me in the right direction?

send a personal message to a club member, FFR428. Go to members and look that id up and then click on personal message and ask him. If anyone knows where to find one, he will.Duane S

Other possible sources are Ken's Cougars (www.kenscougars.com) and Semo Classic Mustang (www.semomustang.com). Ken used to have a number of 428 Eliminator Cougars around. Bound to be more, but I know Ken had a few. Not cheap, but he was good to deal with from my point of view, and Jeff at Semo is a top-notch guy.Tim -

Spitfire, try the classifieds at www.fordfe.com and also contact Dennis at www.dscmotorsport.com There are a few CJ blocks and heads and on the FordFE site. There is a guy there ( login boss429kk1708 ) Jim Demmitt Jr who has quite a bit of CJ stuff for sale. Also DSC has blocks, heads etc.... but maybe can help with a complete engine. Both these guys are in CA. Sorry I don't know of anything else off the top of my head but I'll keep an eye out. G.
