Does anybody have, or know of a place where I can get body parts for a 65' chevelle. Any condition will do.

I know of a '65 SS 396 Convertible in my grandpa's junkyard, but only good parts left are the trim along the top of the windshield and the glove box (the vin is also there yet, but not really a body part) Everything else is pretty well shot, or missing.

I'm actually starting to doubt the fact that his car is "the" ss396 convertible. It was sold to him back in the 70's or early 80's, just as a parts only car. He was told it was the ss396 but I don't know if anyone has ran the numbers, but it did have the 396 when he bought it, as far as he remembers. He then raced it, circle track, so the doors are gutted and welded shut, the quarters and rear tail light panel are dinged to snot and there's stuff welded onto the frame where the radiator support used to be. I know it at least is an "SS", Glove box has the Malibu SS stuff, plus he admit he knew at least that. The firewall tag is still there, but I could find no vin tag beyond that, I swear one was on there last year, but I could be wrong and I swear reading Z16 on a tag before, I honestly never heard about the Z16 nickname until the last couple weeks, I've never really messed with too much restoration/numbers matching stuff beyond the deal with my uncle's SCJ big block and simple Ford part numbers, so here's some info.
    Here's what that tag reads:

    SF 65-13837 ATL 5397 BODY
    TB 792- K-K PAINT
    2MS
That is at least what rubbed off when I did the old trick of holding a piece of paper over the tag then rubbing a pencil over it.

The "Z16, SS396 convertible" is an Artesian Turquoise, white bucket seat, SS HARDTOP, small block with a powerglide and rear antenna.

It's located in Minnesota, St. Cloud area.
By the way, where could I get some GN weather stripping for around the t-tops for a decent price being I see the fact you're running the Grand National as well, got a friend with one and needs that plus a few other pieces. I'll take some pics and let you guys see what I'm working with-car is barely existent, frame, doors welded shut, no front clip-but I'll get you an idea.

I was hoping it was St Cloud in FL.
I got my weatherstripping from Kirbans Performance. But i believe you can still get it from the factory. It is not cheap, i paid 300 for the window weatherstripping for my regular hard top GN. But it fits right and thats what i wanted. There are some aftermarket places that i hear good things about. Cant remember the names though.

This guy has tried some aftermarket junk, learned that the used OEM stuff ends up bringing $140+ on ebay alone, but like most of us, he'll spend hours saving $5 rather than dish out for the quick deal, but I can't complain, he got me the police issued tires for free, so he's on my good side.
