looking for toploader
I'm looking for a toploader 4speed tranny for my 66 mustang, I'm working on converting it from automatic to a manual, the more parts the betterjust because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Tech has the addy for the best toploader man around, thought I had it still but I lost it. With the price of gas, why not a T-5 with the 5th gear overdrive.????? Just a thought.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

awesome thanks... problem with the 5 speed is that it uses that clutch cable that runs up the firewall and it just seems like more of a pain than all bolt on minus driveshaft modification.... unless they've made a better cable design??just because your car is faster, doesn't mean i cant outdrive you... give me a curvy mountain road and i'll beat you any day

Not that I know of Sals. They do make an adjustable quadrant now. I still have a Doug Nash (now Richmond) that I'm saving for the Ranchero. They are a good unit, also.Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
