Chevy 250 or 292 block
Is there anyone that cast's NEW chevy inline blocks? I want to build one from the ground up.

Not that I know of. I suggest that this might be the cheapest 40 bucks you'll ever spend on a 6-banger project though......

I don't know of any new repro blocks ither, you could check your local auto parts store that sells engines and see if they can get you a good block. Otherwise there are plenty engines that could go for a rebuild out there that can be got cheap, specially the 250.You don't know what you've got til it's gone

The reason we can not get SIX blocks is because of all those V8 addicts like my brother, who needs 750 hp anyway?
