bassfinder Look under E bay. The listing you want is carbs intakes on ebay. They have alot of 500-1000cfm carbs listed.
Keep smiling, it only hurts when you think it does!

There are some good deals on factory rebuilds out there. I am running two 600 Edelbrocks on my 302 in the roadster, and they have been great, and they were factory rebuilds.

I think for some reason you can pick up a 600 cheaper than the 500's. Maybe it has something to do with there being more 600's made?

But for the sbc you are mentioning, 600 would not be too much.

Chevy 37 is right. EBAY. I have bought a few carbs there, and if you look at the reputation of the seller you should be ok.

    Good luck. Don

Thanks but a 500 cfm is what I am looking for. I am planning on a 283 with slight cam and intake carb combo. Not planning on anything major. Been told a 600 would be too much that why the 500 cfm. A stock q-jet from a 305 would work also, been told that. Do appericate the info though.
