    looking for a 9"

who sells ford 9" rear ends for a good deal... not looking for anything special... just standard setup, rear drums, wont ever see more than 500hp, its for a daily driver so it wont get too much hot rodding done to it, and i need it to be 52" flange to flange to properly fit my mustang, anyone know any websites or have one that they'd like to sell?

the problem i've found with those is shipping comes out to almost $400 from most those guys... at that rate i can go have a custom rearend built for me

I'm suspecting your mustang has the weak 7.5" 6cyl rear? A maverick 8" will work behind a pretty beefy V8 and will fit right in, I'v been told the Maverick 8" is the same rear end they put in the Early V8 Mustangs and Falcons. Currie Or Moser will get you the 9" brand new for about a grand and a half if you want the 9"
You don't know what you've got til it's gone

yup i've got the 7.5" with the 2.83 gears, i'm down with an 8" or a 9" i prefer the 9 cause they're just a lil tougher, but $1500 is way out of my budget right now... i just found out one of my local wrecking yards has a parts request system, so i just emailed them and hopefully they can find one
