67-72 Fleetside bed. Where to buy?
Hello all i remember a while ago i found a company that sells aftermarket fleetside beds for 67-72 trucks. I have looked everywhere and i can't find them anymore. Anyone know where you can buy a "new" fleetside bed? Thanks Josh

Hmm...Well, I don't know for sure, but you could try Brothers Truck Parts, Golden State Pick-up Parts, Jim Carter Truck Parts and Chevy Duty along with the other parts suppliers mentioned.
Here are the links in order mentioned:

By the way, IMO I have found through my years of buying metal parts from any supplier, that you most often get what you pay for. Often times if you pay less for metal parts, the reason seems to be that the metal is not as thick or strong as the more expensive suppliers. It's obviously your decision; but, don't bet on paying a bunch less for the same quality.
I know, for example, that the metal parts I have purchased for my '55 from Chevy Duty is not near as thick as those same pieces that I have purchased from Brothers Trucks. Obviously the metal from Brothers was more expensive; but, on the whole, I personally was much happier with what I got for the price from them.
That doesn't mean that I haven't ordered other parts from Chevy Duty. Quite the contrary in fact, I have been very happy with other items I have gotten and still use them quite often as a supplier, just not for metal if I can get it somewhere else.
Obviously that doesn't mean that there aren't some places out there that sell the same product for more. I personally, won't order metal from a supplier anymore until, I've seen it with my own two eyes. I am fortunate because I know a lot of people who order parts from the same places I do, and I make it a point to take a look at what they got for the price, compare it with others and then make my decision.
In any event, I wish you good luck in your search.

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
