Barry, see your other post for input from me about these gorgeous little pick-em-up trucks. What I'm thinkin' for a seat for mine is the middle seat out of a minivan. I'm gonna do some measuring and go to the boneyard to see if I can find a match. I suggest you do the same.

Nice idea Richard , let me know how it comes out. I would like to have an era seat for it and the Willys seat is kind of cool in that the back is hinged to fold up and the bottom is hinged to fold forward exposing the tool area that's under the seat.
Being that I'll be moving the battery to that area I thought the best route would be to go original. I do like the mid seat idea though as it's possible to still hinge it in the front and have the whole seat fold forward. BTW Mid eighties Ranger PU ( standard cab) seat is a bolt in also.

I had a 46 Chev. PU that needed a seat that was split and hidged in the front for the acess to my battery. I found strange looking Honda wagon at pick a part that was perfect. It was four pieces that the bottom hindged in the front and the backs hidged on the bottom. The brackets for these hidges were perfect and were bolt in. I wish I could tell you the year but I can only guess 80's. It was the rear seat and what a find. Good Luck.
