WTB: Ford 351W steel adapter for oil pressure sending unit
This is the hexagon shaped pipe that screws into the side of the block, and has the hole on the end that the oil pressure sending unit screws into. I found one in a junkyard off of a 302, but apparently they have different threads, so one from a 289 or 302 apparently will not work.
Thanks,

they should be the same for all the small block windsors. it may be a different thread for the "5.0" engines when they did away with the pressure guage and extension and just had the low pressure dummy warning light.
anyhow, this is where i got mine. it's angled on the end for better sender clearance.

You're welcome Mike, glad it worked out for you. Roger, it's taken a few years but my inventory of excess parts has shrunk a fair bit from 1 1/2 garage stalls to about an eight by eight space. ...
