    Lookin for whitewalls!!

Just curious if anyone can point me in the right direction. I need to get some Vintage Whitewalls for the 65 F100...I know there's a million different companies that sell em....anyone have experience with any "affordable" places that are high quality?

Any help would be rad! Thanks!

"affordable" and "high-quality" don't belong in the same sentence

Ditto about Coker. Just tonight we were looking at the Commanders I had on the back of my '27. Bought them about 15 years ago, put tons of miles on them, smoked them quite often , and the tread is still deep and there are no cracks. I think I could still run them for a couple more years.

Coker is the only place I shop for tires.

I'm from the Dallas Fort Worth area. This tire shop in Dallas called Wallace Wade Tires is a pretty good place to trade. Here is a link 4-U.

I have Cokers on my Studebaker. I have had some problem with the whitewalls bubbling up close to the bead, they have replaced my two front tires for me adjusting them based on remaining tread. The service has been excellent. Now I am noticing a bubble on one of my rear tires.

I think if I ever replace the Cokers, I may look at Diamond Back. They put whitewalls on other tire types. I am looking for something that will give me better traction.

I would not go with diamond back, there prosess seems more or less like a re cap, in the fact that, it would be dangerouse if the cap let loose, not to mention, they are probably heavy

I appreciate your concern, but the Diamond Backs are not a recap. They have a bonding process that they use to apply whitewalls to brand new premium tires such as the Firestone 500s. They also do red lines and other colors. They can even set up whitewals on both sides of the tire. If you look at their size charts, the tire weights are listed and are in line with the weight of similar tires from other manufacturers. I have researched them some and everything I have heard of their reputation has been positive.

I run Diamonback white walls on my roadster pickup. They vulcanize the whitewall on new namebrand radial tires. Mine balanced up just fine with very little weights required. They weigh no more than any standard radial tire.

I put a lot of miles on my cars and have had no problems with the "Diamonbacks".
