ski, here's an outfit that has been big in Jag rears for years.

re Jag Rears
Bob ;
Thanks for the reply, Yes I am aware of CCW , I have their catalog, it has a lot of good information on the Jag rears, what interchanges with what and Rear ID info.
I called them and spoke with the owner, Sorry his name slips my mind at the moment, he was a wealth of information though and told me that most of his stuff is not available anymore ( availability ). They no longer offer most of their chromed parts due to the poor quality coming out of the platers. I also considered the shipping costs involved from coast to coast , I spoke with Jeff Kugal last week and they have gotten out of the Jag stuff for the most part, although they still offer their urethane busking kits for the Jag, but her did turn me on to Snow White in lower Calif. Called them and they make rear crossmenbers and stock quite a bit of other Jag components. Sound like nice people to deal with, again a shipping consideration.
I've been trying to find out which Alden Coilover Shocks to run on the rear of the Coupe with a Jag rear. Not sure on the # Spring's to use , I want to run the 4 just as the Jag did, In the front I'm going to run a Heidt's open wheel IRS with Aldens, pinched & lengthened 4 ". ZZ4 and a 700R4 . It have the glass body so the weight should be close to 2000# . Maybe someone on CHR has the answer on the spring Pounds. Incidently good job on the Magazine editorial, Maybe you can Help Rodders Digest fly this time around. Take Care.skiball
