mouldings for 48 chevy sedan delivery

I have been looking for either stainless or chrome reveal trim for the windshield moulding on my 48 chevy sedan delivery. Been looking for a long time. Anybody got what I'm looking for, or can point me in the right direction?I would appreciate any help. Thanks dlsuiter@cox.net

DL, if you are talking about the Stainless trim that is ont he center post of the windsheild. It should be the same from 42-48.

You can also try at http://www.jalopyjournal.com. They also have a forum.

I called a buddy of mine here in town to see if he still had his from his sedan delivery build and he said that it went with the 48 coupe that he sold. He has a butt joint V windsheild in his sedan delivery.

I wish that I had picks of it because you probably have seen it around town.

Have you tried looking at "Chevs of the 40's", they have a website and a great catalog. I know that they have alot of stock parts for panels.

would you have a picture of your sedan delivery?
Is the same as a panel truck? We have a '48 GMC panel and would like to see the difference
    thanks
