51 merc fender skirts
Does anyone have any laying around that you want too part with? I looked at the swap meet today, one pair and the guy wanted $500 for them, too pricey for me, i offered $300, i think that is reasonable considering the condition, let me know if ya got some and we will make a deal,
Thanks
John

You're about 44 years too late. My first car was a '51 Merc tudor. The VERY first thing I did before driving it home was remove the original skirts...............who wanted to look like an old man!!!
Oh, BTW, paid $125 for the whole car............rust free, So Cal car, cherry original interior, recent rebuilt engine, good tires, brakes, paint, yada yada............just a good ol' 11 year old used car.Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

Bob, did the same thing with a 51 Bel Air Hardtop. First thing that went were the skirts. Don't even know what I ever did with them. Funny what we did in 62.Duane S

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
