Hav a Good Summit (SUM-314350) SVC Electric Water Pump Motor?

    Hey Everyone,

My SUM-314350 electric water pump motor went out on me. I bought a new one but I'd like to keep this old one as a backup.

The impellers and everything else are great - just a bad motor.

Anyone have one with a bad impeller they want to get rid of?

Summit sells the pump. I tried to find out who makes it for them, but they said that even THEY are not allowed to know. (It sure looks like a CSR setup to me, though).

    Thanks!

I bought the car from a guy who said he only had 5 minutes on the engine and a new pump. I had to tear apart most of the top end to fix what he didn't. I only put about 40 miles on it before it died.

I have to check to see if he disconnected the heater hoses - which would have killed the water pump because the thermostat was closed, burning up the pump.

If the guy was telling the truth, it did not last long. It turned out that the guy lied about a lot of things on the car. (Steve Yanda at Yon's Racing in WV if it matters). It could have had a lot of miles on it for all I know.

I also believe that the motor from SUM-314454 (big block application) is the same motor if anyone had a broken one for me.
