A bbc flywheel will solve the flywheel problem.

BBC Flywheel won't work. It got too much weight and will vibrate. The best way is buy a balance plate that goes between the crankshaft and flywheel.

That's odd, I ran one behind a 400sbc in a '62 pickup for a couple of years and never had a bit of problem.

I'll be honest with you I have tried that on the Crankshaft Balancer and It does shows some out Viberation and it enough will harm your engine bearings and cause crank to break.
My and my Dad have been building racing engines for over 30 years. Plus we also do Crank Balancing and Cam grinding Crank grinding. We also have flow bench to ports heads.

Call Margaret or Bruce at Bruce's Speed Shop 973-664-0192 They are located in Rockaway, roughly 40 minutes from your place and will most likely have it in stock. Tell them I sent you
Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.
