Hey,,,thers more to hotrods than low RPM torque! Be a real gasser man and forget that 850 and dominator and put dual 600holleys on if your going with the gears and converter you mentioned,,,,it will handle the dual carbs. NOW,,,where at, is the next question boys and girls
I still think a set of Hilborn stacks would be best,,,,geesh,,,,let the party begin

I would really like to find a set of Hillborn's for a sbf, then convert them to EFI!!!! All the nostalgia of the 8 stacks in the air, then the driveability of EFI.....Who sez you can't have it both ways!!!!!!!

Nah, Scooter, we don't think you're a joke. In fact I think it's cool that you like to use stuff that we used in the early 60's. And there is no sound in the world like a high, high revving small block. So have fun with it.

Good choice for a home for the axles, or the Gensis block?????

Here's what I'm really wanting to run on the Ranchero if and when it should ever be engine building time. This one is from TWM, one of our site sponsors. Going by there dyno sheet, it works as good as it looks.... They don't sell the ECU for it, though.... Wonder where to check on prices for one of them? I think it looks really clean with the injectors and fuel rail on the inside!!!!!!

PS...This is for a 351W, they have them for 302's and FE's also... Oh yeah, and them sbc's, too!!!!

Well the block but since you mention it the axles fit the bill as well.

TWM stuff is nice. I agree the rails and injectors look much cleaner inside.
