8 3/4 mopar rear needed....
I am going to start putting my BB 70 Dart together and I am looking for a 8 3/4 mopar rear end, a sure grip if possible, for an A-body perferrably.
I also will be needing some other parts like quarter panels, big bolt pattern wheels(4 1/2), Hemi-hood scoop, and a single plane torker type intake for a 383-400, aftermarket electronic distributer for same. Thanks."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

I would love to have a 749 or 741 center section sure grip but if it's not a sure grip that could be changed.
Trucks usually have 9 1/4 rear end but if they are 8 3/4 they could be cut down I would guess, may be a little out of my league.
What would you want for one of your c body rear ends Gassersrule?"Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

very cool gassersrule, thank you. That is a great deal on a 60 posi, he treated you right. A Dana would be great also but either with a posi would work for my little dart. I will be putting as much HP as I can afford in that sucker."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, I have been laid up, but I am back and ready to go.
Ok, that would be C-body size right? Sounds great, now what would it be to get it out here, 65775?Last edited by brickman; 10-14-2007 at 06:25 PM.

I may be interested in one of each, I have a dart project and a satilite project next. I plan to put built BB in both, why not have a little fun huh? The Dart will have the ground pounder stroker in it so it will get the Dana. Thanks for the response, I appreciate it."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"

Thanks rc and glad to meet ya. I am going to build an A-body (70 Dart) so idealy I would like one for it but I am not particular. Do you get down this way very often? Are you parting with any Mopars, my friend is looking for early 60's plymouth or Dodges', also parts for a 64 savoy post."Sunshine, a street rod and a winding beautiful Ozarks road is truely Bliss!"
