Yeah, normally mid month some time, haven't gotten an event calendar yet.
As for the engines I'd prefer the Buick, already got a 283, but now that you've gone bigger block I guess you've got sb's to get rid of eh?Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

never! this is just one of my dream cars, even since i was about 6-7 years old i caught on and started hanging around a bunch of our ex-street racers who used to cruise riverside <anybody from the 70's-80's spokane will remember riverside> and i grew up hearing stories and stories and seeing pictures. one guys dad used to drive jr fuel and hung out with kenny logan and larry dixon sr back in the 60's. but i remember the 1st time i saw a a gasser my dad showed me in a book. i was instantly he grew up going to his local track in kansas <an old 1/8th mile> and helped a guy with an old chevy coupe bbc straight axel 4 speed etc. this guy was awesome even his wife raced there belvedere in stock classes ha! he always talked about seeing the gassers and it just bit me. and ive always wanted a bbc 4 speed gasser, if i had the $ id have a 55 chevy 2 door post 427 tunnel ram but i love nova gassers also im split 50/50 on the two of them wow that turned into a story/soapboxing ha!
