There's a 401 on ebay, not sure of the location. They said it ran good when pulled.

hi im not near nj but i do have 3 nailheads..one a 364 i believe in a 58 buick century..looking to sell the whole car or maybe part it out for the right price..also have a 65 buick riv. complete but could be talked into parting it out but i really would rather sell the whole car..and also a 66 buick special that i am thinking about putting a 45 in so i will pull out the nailhead all complete looks to be rebuilt but havent tried to start it yet.......R.C.

Looking for a Nailhead in NJ

Some confusion here. I was responding to an earlier post from a guy, in NJ ,who was the fellow looking for the engine.

I have a totally rebuilt 425 w/dual quads, cam, headers, with clutch/bellhousing, etc. that I would sell to him ready to go, for $3800!

The guy posting the request is obviously a jack ass dreamer who doesn't have any money and is starting a thread just to start one. The Club doesn't need this sort of idiot..............He never responded to anything.

If you are serious, and need something then post, otherwise just look!

But no, I am not looking for another engine. I am now into Caddy 500's.

    Best regards,
    Kolie

    Nailhead

Here is a 1/2ass pic of it in my '50 Chev. Runs like a top, has less than 500 miles on it. I need to sell this before I can put in a Cad 500 or I need to buy andother car for the Caddy!

    Later,

Who are you talking to Scooter? rv-customs is long gone and Kolie doesn't want one.
What if the "Hokey Pokey" is what it's really all about?

That's OK I really wanted to see that COOL nail head Buick engine . A long time ago I worked on a 1965 Buick wildcat I think that it had the 401 4BBL . I always wanted one like it or a 1965 GS .

How about bringing it over on your next trip? We'll burn some steer meat on the barbie.
