    ...Got Rochester 2G?

Looking for 6 Roch 2G's (no C's or V's) fer a B.O.P. Edelbrock X2. Or does anyone know of any other carbs that will fit this 2" x 3-1/4" four bolt pattern.

2G? huh? is that like a dualjet? You lost me there. If you are looking for dualjets, they came on 260s. But I doubt that. Someone got any ideas.

the carburetor has 2 bores, 2 venturii and 2 separate but identical metering systems, one for each carburetor bore. The 2G is manually-operated choke valve. The 2GC automatic choke (integral coil spring style), 2GV vacuum choke. Need the 2G with manual choke to set up with five bros. & sisters! The 2G is mostly truck an marine an I'm havin a hard time findin em (outside of spending a fortune), thought mebe someone on here could point a finger or heard of alternatives.

Streets, are predetor carburators that much better than edlebrock or holley? I was thinking of getting a reman edle preformer 750 but, I want a quality carb not a quanity carb only because know if your car runs to lean you kill the pistions, if it runs to rich you waste fuel.

What exactly are you trying to do????

I suspect from the sounds of it your either setting up an old 6 duce intake (like I'll be running on one of my Hemi's) or 2 tri-powers. What manifold/engine are you building?

The 2G/2GC/2GV are basically the same carb. If this is for a multiple carb system, set up properly your only going to want a choke one one carb (tri-power) or the 2 center carbs on on a 6 duce set up. Regardless of the carbs you are using, you should be removing the choke on the rest.
