Need three, 2 barrel Rochesters
I'm trying to put a three deuce set up together for a 327 I'm going to run. I understand that there are two different sizes, I'm not sure.BUILD'EM, DRIVE'EM, BREAK'EM

Are you married to the Rochesters? Seems to me they were 2G on the three twos."Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhil

You need Rochester "small carbs". They will have 1 3/32" cast on the inside of the venturi body. You also want to pick carbs with the gas line entering the "side of the carb top". They made many variations of this carb over 30 or more years for many different applications. The different numbers 2g, 2gc, etc is for the different types of choke linkage. Try to find three carbs that look-a-like with the same linkage. Lokar makes a nice throttle cable stop for the rear carb. I have found that you need about 4 to 5 "swap meet" carbs to make one "good carb".

They can be found in at most major car swap meets. Saw a bunch at the Turkey Run swap meet in November. Also usually can be found at swap meets at large Good Guy events. Also available refurbished for a hefty sum usually in the $400 ea price range. Not all Rochester 2G's are setup for use in for tri-power, but peedway has a nice kit for coverting the standard 2 g's into a tri carb setup. The c in 2gc stands for center, as it is specifically setup for use as the tri-power center carb with the proper shaft and features.
I have three really nice ones mounted on a offenhauser intake on my 57 Olds but I really don't thing you can afford them.Bob

Jake, I buy them on Ebay occasionally.........usually under $ 30 each. Just look for ones from cars from the mid 60's usually, and the side inlet ones make fuel line hook up so much easier.
BTW, I haven't forgotten your spring............I'll be sure to bring it to Billetproof.

With progressive linkage, it works quite well to use the big Rochester in the middle and the smaller one's on the ends....Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Thanks for the info guys, I have never ran this set up before, as anyone that knows me will tell you I'm partial to 2X4 vintage tunnel rams. I could run a tunnel ram on this one but there is something about a 283 or 327 with three deuces that I like.BUILD'EM, DRIVE'EM, BREAK'EM
Thank you Roger. .
