Need to be sent in right direction...

I am looking for engine parts for a 1928 Pontiac L28 engine. Anyone know who or where I can get like a crank and rods for one?

Egge Machine doesn't show any Pontiac stuff that I can see, but give them a call or kite an email and ask. If they don't have what you need, ask them if they can refer you to someone. Lots of times, I've found stuff through networking with people....

If Egge comes up with nothing, try Hemmings Motor News in the parts section or parting out....

Yeah, it's called babbitt. The old cars of the era were referred to as "babbitt pounders".....

Direction??? Horace Greely's advice on direction was to go West, young man, go West!!!! As for the other, most babbitt bearing engines are splash oiling and not pressurized oiling, another consideration when working on them....
