WANTED: Late 20's chevy, chasis parts.
Hi,
I am looking for alot of body parts for a late 20's chevy 3 window coupe my best quess on the year is a 29. But it doesn't truely matter, becuse it will be more of a rat rod.
I'm not to concerned with the fender/running boards, but I need the front radiator surround, and any and all floor pan parts (if they are made)
Also I need a motor/tranny for it, along with a rear end, Motor needs to be a big block chevy/426 Hemi. Tranny isn't to important to me. Also I am looking for a posi trac rear end, prefered with leaf springs. But if it already has ladder bars on it, thats good to.
Anyways, we are building a rat rod, out of this late 20's 3 window coupe shell, so if you have any parts that you think I might want (basically any chasis part, or anything late 20's-early 30's chevy body parts) then post it up here!
Thanks.

Thats quite a list your looking for!
Looking for a late 20's chevy frame that you also want to put a 426 hemi or big block chevy mill in.
Im sorry but the only parts I know of on your list is a late twenties chevy radiator and grille. Its in an antique shop in town for 150 bucks. Looked to be in good shape, but theres no way im blowing 150 for a radiator that I dont know the shape of."its better to rule in hell, than serve in heaven."

OK, I can find an aftermarket aluminum radiator to cool a V8 easily, I mean the chrom surround that goes out side of it....
And as for streets... Do you think I'm retarded? Do you know what boxing a frame is? And more likly than not the car will get a full cage.
And what the hell is a reggie?

When I first started work at Zenith in 1973 I worked on a chassis assembly line. One day the gal to my right was out sick so one of the replacement filled in for her. This gal liked to sing and she...
