'66 Impala stuff
Dug out one of our golden oldies to put back together. It's a '66 Impala base car, got all the trim pieces to make it an SS clone. Wondering if anyone might have a used disc brake setup for the front end.---Got a couple picked out from aftermarket sources but never hurts to check around for used. This one's just going to be a cruizer so I don't want a light weight drag car setup or anything..
Also would consider some of the dash pieces for factory AC.
Thanks!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, it's a bit camera shy right now Randy....so ugly from sitting and the interior and trunk being a storage shed I'll probably wait awhile on pics!!!!! As for the "how many" questions, too many or not near enough, depending all on how you look at it!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Randy says, "If you don't have a picture... It didn't happen or doesn't exist!!"
That's why it's rumored that he has a 36 or 37 ford... it needed a radiator! (rotflmfao!)

Oh yeah, I remember!!!! Wasn't he going to fix the radiator and a couple other little things???????
When I get enough junk out of the car that it actually looks like a car again I'll for sure get some pics!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Oh....you must mean this '37 Ford......
37 Ford build--IE: old Header issues thread /37 Ford/5.0/GT40P heads
or this one....
'38 Ford deck lid vs 37 Ford deck lid
It DOES exist as these long-ass threads prove!!!! However, I still don't see any past history of a '66 Impala...."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

Not much history to it Randy, bought it a bunch of years ago at an auction when nobody else wanted to bid on it... Felt sorry for the old girl and brought her home!
PS--Did I mention it's really ugly right now?Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Well, with cars from the 60's, I've become a lot less brand conscious. Wish I had the time and money to save them all!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Haha, Mike!! Too bad neither of those long-ass threads have a Happy Ending yet!! Someday.....Someday!!!
As for the "ugly Impala", Dave, I think most of us can see through ugly.......why else would we drag these old relics out of fields, barns & river beds to pour thousands of dollars into them!! Get out the hose and rinse off a little of the "ugly". Pics whenever you're ready will be fine. Sorry to high-jack your thread with all the silliness . Hopefully somebody will show up with the parts you need....."It is not much good thinking of a thing unless you think it out." - H.G. Wells

Spent a bit of time on the Impala, should get a camera crew in here to shoot a video about the body work that was done on it previously, the title would be "How NOT to do body work on a classic". I knew when I got the car that a lot of work had been done on the car and that it had too much filler on it, none of the body lines were sharp, shape on the bottom of the fenders was wrong, and other clues. Well, someone put a patch panel on the left quarter, just lapped it over the original panel and tacked it in place, filler was about 3/8" thick from the body line all the way down. Same on both front fenders, nothing but a few small dents here and there, someone didn't even bother trying to ding them out, just filled it to a level of about 3/16" thick. Lots more surprises coming on it, I'm sure! Promise to get someone to stop by and get some pics of it tomorrow, still haven't sprang the bucks for a new camera for me!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Ever since putting 2.02 camel humps on my 350, as I am cruising there is a slight surging in the engine. If I put my foot in it to give it load it is smooth as can be. Have done many different timing...
