    Angry need parts desperatly

I just purchased a 86 chevy truck with a built 305, all is complete except for the fuel system, it has a 144 degree lift cam and rebuilt lower end, It needs a 600 to 650 4brl carb, hi-rise intake, and 2500-2800 stall converter, i dont have the money for brand new, im just a poor country boy, I need to know if anyone has one of these items hanging around on one of your shelves or know of a wholesaler in the Missouri area, contact me at wallysworld03@yahoo.com. Please help i need this truck on the road

    Matt 167,
Thanks for the advice i was talking with the guy i got the truck from and his wife said he had it running good at one time but in the prcess of trying to get more power he messed up the timing real bad, it has to gradually gain its full idle when it is started and it has no takeoff power, someone told me i would hve to have the stall converter for the truck to run right, i just dont think that sounds right, it sounds like its totally out of time, he tried to tell me that the cam had to be dialed in but the trick starts and runs too good to be out that much, I have a summit catalog on the way, i emailed for it when i got your replay, thanx

The summit remanufactured edel performer 600CFM with manual choke is 186.88 and the same carb except brand new, also from summit is 234.95. Even being remanufactured, it should still run like new.
