This is my 77 Cobra II. It was originally bought as a parts car for the 77 Coupe project (no motor, tranny and most of the interior gone). When I got it back to the shop and ran the numbers, it turned out to be a legitimite V8/4 spd Cobra II. Most imprtantly, it was straight and totally rust free (couldn't bring myself to take it apart). It gave me an excuse to us up some of the old parts from my mis-spent youth when I raced a couple of V8 Pintos. It now has an earlier non-smog 302 (Weiand intake, Eldebrock preformer carb, Motorsport headers, dual exhaust, C4, 9 inch, traction bars and 5 Lug front rotors. It's been car of the month on a couple of Mustang II web sites, and won 1st in the dailey driver class at a local car show. It will soon be sold to make room for other projects.

Well, so much for selling it!!!! It has become the wifes daily driver. Factory air has been installed along with the optional consul and a flat hood with non-functional hood scoop for rainy weather.
