In order to protect the fiberglass fenders I wanted full bumpers and splurged on stainless steel straight bars from Bratton's Antique Auto Parts as well as the hand rails. The LED turn signals are from Auto Zone and are 12v running lights but they have "DOT approved" (running lights) so I hope they pass inspection for turn signals. They are very similar to adapter turn signals used by Model A restorers. The teacup lights are from Speedway but most of the other items are from Brattons. I have used as much stainless as possible including mounting bolts where visible. Grade-8 steel bolts are used where strength is important. There will be a problem hiding the wires for the LEDs and maybe I will have to fabricate looms from 1/4" copper tubing.· Date: · Views: 5,710
