Here's a few from the basement at Cobo Hall last weekend.
Jimmy Shine's car is in there and some other interesting stuff. Some are almost cartoonish and some had well engineered chassis with air ride. The T roadster with all the pipes on the right side has a 1948 Olds straight 8. The 32 highboy is a barn fresh find built in the 40s or early 50s. I'd like to know more of it's history. Love the pink hood.
The 34 cabriolet is also an early 60s build with a 265 Chevy and what appears to be a 1957 Corvette Rochester injection.
Sorry that some of the pics are blurry but I was getting real tired by the time I got to the lower level.
I'm going to put all of my pics in an alblum and sharpen them then post a link, hopefully tomorrow.
Yes, that's real rustout in the bottom of those duece doors.
