Article On Rat Rods
Kind of a neat article in the New York Times on Rat Rods.

You need some rust holes, bullet holes and stop sign floorboards. Sorry Charlie, your car is just too nice.

Still in the throes of our weekend chaos I'll be brief.
Big article in the NYT? Another nail!
The reporter looks to have done some pretty decent research, but hey, there hasn't been an "Oakland" roadster show in over ten years.
Some little tidbits I find interesting, Kurt Jones (Billetproof founder) is the editor of Goodguys Gazette. Their main personal interviewee owns a NYC art gallery, and has a highly structured club complete with RULES!!Were it not so humorous it would be pretentious.

Wonder when we will see the first Rat Rod at Pebble Beach?? Fine wine and Rats...................now that's a real combination.

Not that Pebble Beach should mean anything to regular people..............it's just for the rich anyways.......Traditional Hot Rods are already featured there.

Here, this will explain. www.pebblebeachconcours.net/ - 4k
Awhile back they started admitting certain very significant hot rods into the event, which is kind of a real big deal, as it was previously reserved for Bugattis, and the like.

Accepted by the New York Times!!!! Does this mean Rat Rods have now become politically correct?????? IMO an endorsement by some fruit loop at the Times is just about the same as a kiss of death!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!
