Progress report - cab channeled onto chassis - NOW PICS!
Two guys I met on the HAMB who actually know what they are doing came over tonight and in about 2 1/2 hours we had the cab channeled down on the frame. I have to weld everything up yet, but it made a really clean job.
I think they have me talked into trying to put fenders on it, so that will make things a little more interesting, but I am afraid I couldn't get it legal without.

Looking good!! I think the fenders will look good on the truck. Heck, if it was easy everybody would be doing it!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

First off this is the "rust art" that gained my pickup its name
Thanks to Chopo and Lulabelle for all the help. We started at 10pm, and had it down on the frame by 1:30. Not a bad night!
First cut

Firewall and floor out
Back on the frame, marked to cut rear of cab
Last of the cutting

Thanks again to Jon (who was camera shy) and JT for all the help.
