Hell yeah!
I put the short water pump and crank pulley on the block today, I wanted to get the wheel base as short as posible. So the rad and fan will be put infront of the stocl cross member. The best part is, the new grill will hide both of them. I will have pics of all that this week.
For now.....

Sorry it has been so long with out an update. I have been running around doing 10 things at once. So, we finaly got the front wheels right. The axle is a ford spindle and brake disk, whitch means that the bolt pattern is 5x 4.5. I thought it was the small GM that is 5x4.75, So I got wheels and blsted them to paint when we came to find that they did not fit. So out of the blue we found a pair of 1980 Plymouth volare wheels....yeah I know...who the hell saved 14 inch steel wheels off of that car??
So I have to blast these and now paint all the wheels and mount the tires. We are waiting on the mustang radiator to mock up the front end. The Grill came in today and it is perfect. The color and fit is 100%. By the way the paint is faded and the moss is growing on the rust, the car and the grill sat out in the sun facing west. How could you ever plan that?
Donny made the body mounts and the bump stop mounts with a little spare time he had too. So by Saturday we are looking to have the body bolted down and the frame set, the wheels painted, the tires mounted and the radiator set. Um....thats all!
On with the pics!!!

On to motor mounts and a floor pan.......
Let the pics begin

Thanks for the heads up!
The rear shock mount is now done, Donny knocked this one out of the park. He is thinking that he will just make a fuel take for it. That way he can make for the car, not have to make it just fit in the car. We are going to start on the motor mounts and hopfully get the radiator in the mail Sometime today.
We also got a line on some very old plexi-glass for the back 3 windows, you know, somthing that will look like it has been in the car for a few years. We also found a guy with head lights and tail light for this thing. And to top it all off, a ford tractor steering wheel.
With any luck we will find some sore of headers for it on Sunday, we have our 1st swap meet of the year here. Funny, I hate garage sales, but love swap meets....

We have been hard at. The motor mounts are done, the steering box is in. The rear end is all done also. Now it is time to mount the body and floor pan. The fuel tank and the battery are also this week. He has a old 62-64 chevy impala gas tank that fits like a glove. So I think we will be using one just like his, His is just too rusty. Here are a few more shots...

We got Free head lights today from one of Donnys buddies. They are from a 35 chevy? Well they are old chrome and have the oem glass in them!! We are thinking they will mount to the front shock mount but we will see. And the state got a title and custom plates!!!!

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
