I am glad you are having a good time watching the build.
Sorry I have been slacking on the pics, I am doing 10 things at one time these days. So We scored a set of weathered headers at the swap meet last week. They were 40 bucks and look perfect. We are also changing motors now, we get a small block out of a 80's camaro. So when we do final welding we will swap out the one we have for the new one.
Here are the shots we have so far.
Many more to come saturday.

Thanks
All in good time, this kind of speed is not Donnys and my normal speed. I got to sit in the seat today, and wow who would have thought that a crappy 80's patio chair would ever be useful?

And a gas tank, 61-64 chevy just like the one we have only it will hold gas! And a bad ass hood thingy...anyone know what it's from?

Things are really starting to take shape. Here are a few more pics, The coil holder, the brake pedal and the master. By this time next week we should have it all welded and the new moter swaped back in it.

Here we are doing a little trick to take the peak out of the roof. The shortened stearing colum is done, and you love the blinker handle.

The roof is filled, we had to weather the sheet so it would some what match the body. And man did it turn out perfect. So now the roof is all held togather, we chopped 3 inches out of the height. More on that later.

The top filler appears to have a double crown. Did you use metal from a later vehicle, and if so, what did you use?

No man, the top filler is a sheet of metal. Thats all, nothing too fancy.

Yep. And I seem to move 1 thing and it displaces something else with 1/2 of that landing on the workbench and then I forgot where I was going with this other thing and I'll see something else that...
