Hmm well guys, since i seem to be one of the very few bag gurus on the forum, your all welcome to hit me up and BS about air ride, iromise i wont steer u wrong and you'll be very happy with my advice. And just for fun, heres my DAILY driver here in Chicago, and by daily i mean 365 days of the year.
And just disregard that random line laying in there on this next pic, it was taken when we were just running all the lines, its not how it looks now.
And although its my daily, my buddy got a little crazy when painting the frame for me and decided he wanted all the wleds to be nice and smooth. But thats why he calls his business Insanity Customs, because well, hes insane. (note: the pic looked huge on here, so i just posted the link instead of the pic)

And to prevent from hijacking this thread, i wont post anymore pics on this thread. Last but not least, my best advice is, dont let your age be a factor in what you think you can or cant do. I bought this truck when i was 19 and 5 years later, this is the result. Its been bagged for 4 years, but i never got around to making the frame look anywhere near nice until the winter of 2005/summer of 2006.
Some people are probably wondering why ive never posted my truck before and well, i wasn't sure of whether or not these types of rides were welcome here. So i figured id just talk about my 46 Ford most of the time. But when it comes to helping another hot rodder out on air ride, im all for it. So if you have any questions, let me know.Last edited by 46FordSuperDlux; 07-22-2007 at 02:25 AM.

Thats a nice little DD you got there. Haha, I wouldnt mind takin that for a spin or two.
Well, i got my ride running today, jsut warmed her up and blew all the crap outta her system. i also got a couple pics.
Heres what she started out as:
And heres how she sits today, with the name I've given her. "Black Betty"
she still needs to be finished being painted, its in a primer phase right now. she also needs somethin to cover up those hole in the side from an extra gas tank that was taken out, and some of her badges put back on.
after that comes the fun.
-ride hight similar to daves, probably bagged later
-new tires
-New seat, the one in theres shot
-and then later on, a clopped top of about.... 2-3 inches.
What do you guys think?

Ahh yes ,the truck from Mr.Majestic.......Hollywood got a surprise on ford tuff in that movie, supposedly they bought 6 or 7 of those trucks ,because there were some jump scenes and a scene where it gets driven off a cliff ,needless to say ,supposedly they had several left over from the movie as they just could not tear them up.
I had a 77 which is a different body style ,but similiar suspention and I had it 4 or 5 feet in the air frequently, also sunk it in the river ,but thats another story. Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)
