my new project. THE 41
i just picked up a 1941 chevy pu. this will be my winter project to build a rat rod from the only thing im using is the cab and doors the rest i will build out of what ever i can find. im not going to touch the body at all it looks perfect the way it is.
i will update this thread as i go

yes the cab and doors are in real good shape but the rest is gone. i gave 500.00 for the cab doors hood and grill

Not out of line at all. I paid $ 900 for my '39 Dodge cab, and we had to drive to Atlanta to get it.

This is cool looking! I wish I could have found an earlier model cab for mine but a 54 was the best I could come up with. What kind of drivetrain are you thinking?

more work is done. i got the rear end in and fabed the motor mounts. put a peddle assembly from a fiero and im using a set of seats from the fiero thay fit good and look good.

How about a 3" chop & extending the cab 3". The 3 " extention to the cab makes a big diffenance in the lrg room.

the frame is welded. i think i over built it but it's strong. next i will put it on the ground so i can set the front ride hight and build the front axel. for this im using parts from a d30 jeep front axel so i will have disk brakes and good bearings to roll on. i will post pics when i get to that point

its starting to shape up to see what it will look like. im having so much fun building this truck. this is the first car/truck that i built from the ground up. iv built alot of cars but never starting with building frame
