a cut below the rest
Has anyone ever heard of ( or better yet has pics of ) a car which has been chopped on the bottom?
My 36 is bad.. very bad.. has lost the bottom 8" on both doors.. was thinking to just chop it off and raise the rear fender wells.
any input?.

I personally think it looks stupid. It really throws the proportions off on most cars......kinda looks like somebody cut the bottom off a rusty pos CAR.
If you gon't like rust, fix it the right way and weld in new metal.

'36s are very forgiving. This one started as a cowl top, two doors, and the tulip panel. The rest came from a coupe shell, patch panels all around the bottom and a complete floor kit. Nothing to it!Your Uncle Bob, Senior Geezer Curmudgeon

A skip is a huge crate with chains on it at all four corners, the only way I know to shift it is to hire a Hiab. A Hiab is a small crane mounted at either end of a truck's tray...some pick up at...
