IMO the pic on the bottom left looks great!!!! The stretched door and doing away with the post works for me. I've done a couple wagons on the 4 door to 2 door conversion, takes a bit of planning to get the look and the proportions correct, but other then that it's just plain old Hot Roddin' at it's best.....take what ya got and build what ya want!!!!!!!Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

When I was younger and belonged to another forum
I posted up some pics of my model T tudor and everyone
kept telling me to build an rpu. Thats what everyone
over there was building and they thought that everybody
else should have one. So I am here to say don't build an rpu
I personally like the pic on the bottom left. Another option is to
leave it a four door like this ford below. Either way you go with it,
two door or four door it looks like it'll be a cool rod.
What engine do you plan to use?
Me: I don't know how to build a hot rod.
Old Hot Rodder: You ever build a model car?
Me:Yeah...
Old Hot Rodder: Well instead of using glue you weld.

Roadster pickup.
How about a panel truck....aussie style ute...a lift off top on a touring style body...or something totally your own creation?

Hey Folks, Yeah, the one on the bottom left looks good. I have a 31 Chrysler 4dr,that's now a 2dr. The back doors are welded, allows for lots of rear leg room.

Here is the 34 Dodge I built 2 years ago. I kept it a 4 door. It was cool to ride 5 guys around in it on a Saturday night. You don't often see 5 big guys in a 30's low chop top.
I sold the car to a club member and missed so much that I bought this 33 shell a couple weeks ago. I'm welding up the back doors and making a panel out of this one. Post some pics up when you get to cutting.

My opinion too, picture in lower left. Really different, but looks like a natural. Nice body either way. Cool. PerleyToo old to work, Too poor to quit.
