Way cool. I know a lot of guys think bias-ply is the only way to go, but they just don't have as good of a feel on a road trip as radials. (JMHO)

i may have found a line on some steel wheels for the 27 at a scrapyard across the state line.
about an hour away.
i am also waiting to rent my spare bedroom so i can throw that money at this project and finally finish it!
i bet another 1000 bucks will get it wired

What type of timing cover/water pump/front accessory package is that on the 302? That thing seems HUGE!!! Your dimension from the front of the head to the front of the water pump pulley looks to be at least 50% more than mine, and may be twice! That thing is LOOOOOOONG!Roger

new wheels.
i hit them with industrial oven /grill cleaner
scrubbed them down
then degreased with brake cleaner.
primer and paint
