    I recieved an awesome gift

So while hanging out at my favorite junkyard i looked over and spotted this old looking box in the corner and asked about it and my buddy (owner) says you want that old tool box? I said sure how much? He says ill give it to you for what i got in it. I said whats that, he says Nothin' so in a mad dash i grabbed the 35lb box and rushed home excited as a school boy in a candy store.

This beauty will recieve a bracket on the back of sally for it to stay as it is.

Any ideas on what year or what its worth im guessing its pre 1950s

Now that looks like a nice resto project to me!!! A late '40s/early '50's Snap On box - and with the exception of no paint, looks to be in really nice shape. Glass bead it, paint it and display it (I'm jealous as it would be a nice addition to my circa 1958 box which I bought new and at that time was a Master Box)

Im actually wanting to leave it the way it is, it does have paint on it the color on the box is the original random green it only has some very minimal surface rust here and there, I'm currently looking for a pair of skeleton key locks one for this toolbox and one for my carpenters box on the rear and i think it will make a nice addition to my rat.

iv closely inspected every inch of this thing and without sanding or trying to resurface some of those areas i havent found anything. i'd really hate to ruin its genuine patina to find some numbers. but on another note much thanks ted
