Show me some pics how your front shocks mount to your straight axle please. I need ideas.

On a straight axle car, I like to try to incorporate the lower shock mounts into the bottom hole of the radius rod mounts. For the upper mount on a fenderless car, it works to use the upper shock mount as the headlight mount, too. This way you can cut down on brackets and tabs welded to the frame and other parts for a cleaner look...Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, Live for Today!

Like Dave said, I used my upper shock mount to hold a SS bracket that mounts the headlight, and the lower mount point is off of the lower radius rod connection. The headlight mount was made to go on the back side, over the bracket instead of over the shock, but I wanted the headlights forward a couple of inches more so I swapped sides and cut/ground them for clearance. Here's a few shots - sorry for the grime, it's a driver and I have not cleaned it up lately 016.JPG 018.JPG 019.JPG 017.JPGRoger
