    Wiring diagram for 91 Explorer?

Does anyone have the stereo wiring diagram for a 91 Explorer XLT? I am switching out the stereo in one and they don't have the adapter for the speakers just the power. So I need to splice the speakers to the head unit. Only problem is Ford doesn't use normal color coding Ie white/white W\black stripe for front left etc.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Yeah I picked it up for $1300, at that price I couldn't pass it up. Only issues is the rear antilock light flickers on and off and it has 130k miles. Other than that it runs great.
    Thanks for the links.

Well none of those links have the right info for mine. COlors don't match.
    My colors are
    Green
    Blue with black stripe
    Blue
    Purple with white
    white with red stripe
    white with orange stripe
    yellow
    brown
does anyone know the matchings for these? This is why I hate ford, All my Chevies had corresponding colors.

Problem is the speaker pkug is cut off, so the adapter for the speaker plug is worthless to me, I already bought the adapter kit.
But thanks for the idea Camaro

I have a wiring diagram in my hand. The wires you have go to the premium sound amplifier. It don't say which is front ,rear, left or right.
    Speaker wires are
    right front-W/LG and DG/O
    left front-O/LG and LB/W
    right rear-O/R and BK/W
    left rear-PK/LG and PK/LB

    BK-black
    DG-dark green
    LB-light blue
    LG-light green
    O-orange
    PK-pink
    R-red
    W-white
    these are color codes.

I don't know if you can hook a radio up to the input of the amp.Maybe easier to run new speaker wires.By the way the amp is located by the passenger rear wheel behind the plastic panel inside your truck. Good luck with your EXPLODER sorry! I meant EXPLORER!!
