aftermarket gauges
Does anyone know of an aftermarket gauge that will fit in the concaved holes of a 51 chevy sedan?
I found another gauge that has a fuel sending unit for 240-33 ohms. I don't know what that means and was told it won't work.

Well, if all else fails, you can get your original gagues converted to the modern technologies, I coulden't tell ya because I'm keeping the stock gauges. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

Richard,
The fuel gauge in my A-bone had the wrong sender, and went backwards. When the tank was full, it sat on "E", and gradually went to "F" as the tank emptied. I liked it so much I never changed it. There's something comforting about a gas gauge going up as you drive . . .Jack

Just dont loan it to anyone."I dont get it! it stalled on a full tank and just wont start!" Anyway, as for your guage question, why dont you just make spacers or replace the dash? or is this a restoration?Right engine, Wrong Wheels
Getting closer on this project. What a lot of work!
