Dumping the Exhaust
So on my '66 Chevy pickup I'm going to need to redo the exhaust (at some point) from the engine back. Planning on headers, high-flow muffler etc. First, does anyone have any suggestions on what brands etc. to use for deep, throaty, but not overly loud and obnoxious setups?
Second, what are your thoughts on dual vs. single exhaust? I haven't seen any dual exhausts on trucks on the road that I like, I don't like going straight out the back with angle-cut tips or out each side behind each rear wheel. But maybe there are some other suggestions for dual exhausts.
I was leaning more towards single exhaust that dumps just in front of pass. rear wheel (kind of like a NASCAR stock car does). Are there any cons to this setup? Just trying to get some ideas. Thanks

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
