Seems as though, a panal like that should be pretty easy to make if other options are too expensive, for metal, the roofs of old junk cars can work well, the guy I gave my junk parts car '81 Impala to, cut out the roof panal and used it for panal replacement on his 1987 Chevy 1500 rustbucket which he was given to have crushed because of the bodyrot but, it was still road legal and the bed was the only problem. You don't know what you've got til it's gone

majority of the time it's cheaper for them (or you ) to order them
to get it to "factory specs" .............
labor rate changes from place 2 place also before ya' ask.
body work is "usually" the most expensive part of the build , this is why most people "try " it out them selves when on a limited budget .
I'm with matt, but I've found some people have decided they don't like mocking stuff up and spending all the time to build it them self , " I like making StUfF & I got the time ".......
and streets gave you a good link to some really good guys,
that have the links to all the stuff "it sounds like your looking 4".
hope that helps ya some .......

Ok gang. It's been awhile. With everything that was going on taking care of my mom's affairs and making a few needed mods to the Healey, it was June before anything really got rolling on this...
