Call them "sending units" Otherwise tell them exactly what you said above. You're welcome.

Ok Sending Units... got it! I can't wait to get these things in here. I have had them sitting here in that same box you sent them to me in for ever and now they will be getting used. Some of the things have TWO blue face covers on them and there are finger prints in the middle of them so I will have to take them apart, clean them and glue them back together....

The finger prints are probably mine. hehehe You might have to break the plastic, or drill holes thru them to get to the little screws, then you can replace the plastic with better stuff.

So you made the plastic faces? If so then good job. I need to see how high the speedo will go too. I only see that it reads 2 digits so I am hoping it will go over 100 heh.

If my memory is correct, I think it went up to 99, but I could be wrong.

Alright. Yeah probably 99 only. Oh well I guess if I go over that I will have to guess the speed I am doing.
Thanks and I will call that number on Monday and try to order all the sending units and directions.

There's no need to guess. If it reads 00 you are doing 100, if it shows 20, you are doing 120. I'm sure you know what I mean.

Oh so it will go over. Ok awsome!!!!! Heh that just made my day. I thought that 90 would be it and then the rest is for guessing. Oh and thanks again for that reminder about the grounds. I read this "Hot Rod Wiring" book I got from a local library and it said that seperate grounds are the most important when dealing with the guages and that people sometimes have problems with guages and think it's the gauge itself when it is actually their fault because they didn't use seperate grounds for each gauge. I guess I will bolt on a strip of bare metal and mount it behind the dash and put seperate small screws spaced out and use those as the grounds and have it all nice and in a row. Sounds like fun!
