Just picked up the new PAW catalog (just right down the road hehe)and ifn u look at the block kit specials u will see that a454 kit is 2695 long block and the ford 460 is 1999 and also the strokers 510 chebby is 6200 long block and the ford 521 is only 3595 and also 350 chebby is 1695 and the ford 302 1795 !!!!ohhh and the chrysler 440 is only 2495 long block!! 200 less than a chebby!!!
Its gunna take longer than u thought and its gunna cost more too(plan ahead!)

Don't That Just Want To Make You Cry It Used To Be Ford That Was Higher Then Chevy Hmm What Now We Going To Have To Say Chevy Tough Built With Ford Stuff

For sure!! I recall Jim's torsion bar suspension on at least one of his builds, but I'm not sure which one! Maybe the Track T?? He's a talented builder.
